NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore

When you or a loved one is facing mental health challenges, you may not know where to turn for information, resources, and support. It’s important to know you’re not alone. NAMI Metro Baltimore provides programs to help individuals, families, and communities expand their knowledge about mental illness and find empathetic support. NAMI’s Signature education and support groups programs are offered at no cost to participants throughout the Metropolitan Baltimore area. Each of the NAMI Signature programs is: Peer-Led: All classes and support groups are led by trained peers who understand mental illness first-hand. Group-Based: Classes and support groups provide the opportunity for mutual support and positive impact. You can experience compassion and reinforcement by connecting with peers who relate to your experiences. Through your participation, you also have the opportunity to help others grow. Confidential: NAMI’s programs are a confidential place to learn from shared experiences. Recovery-Focused: Learn to identify and access resources in the Baltimore area to support recovery. Because recovery is a personal journey, NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore never recommends a specific medical therapy or treatment approach.

Psychiatric rehabilitation, therapeutic behaivoral services, outpatient mental health, case management, medication management, DUI groups, individual, family and group therapy. Accpts Medicare.

Roberta's House

Transitional program for mental health treatment. Referral from a case manager or physician required. Single men and Women. Free/ Medicaid Accepted.

comprehensive day resource program serving more than 300 people per day that offers supportive services in the areas of housing, health, mental health, recovery, and employment, helping individuals experiencing homelessness obtain housing and reach their full potential.

Comprehensive educational program for pre-school children. Designed to help prepare the children for school success. The program works in partnership with parents, extended family and members of the community to offer developmentally appropriate educational, health, and social services, which include case management and family support to the children and their families.
